G SCALE

The G-scale garden railroad is located at the Beardsley Recreation Center grounds.  The gauge of 45 mm (1.772 in), gives you the opportunity to run trains of a larger size.  You can run your own equipment or operate club-owned trains.

Four main-line routes of various lengths, plus a trolley line that runs down Front Street, run around the town of Lizard Acres.  The layout runs both rail power and battery power.

Track work, wiring, working with plants and scenery, or creating buildings are areas where you can apply your modeling skills in the beautiful outdoors of Sun City West!
